I'm a Backend Lead based in Lahore, Pakistan with 5+ years of experience building and shipping .NET backend systems, Web APIs, and microservices across financial, government, and enterprise domains. I've worked on everything from architecture and API design to security hardening, API governance, release coordination, and cross-team delivery — always on the backend, always owning the outcome.

  • Defined and enforced Swagger/OpenAPI governance — validation centralized in FluentValidation, Swagger kept documentation-only — across backend and integration teams.
  • Owned release coordination across dev, UAT, and preprod, aligning Backend, DevOps, Integration, QA, and Product stakeholders.
  • Led SonarQube quality enforcement, remediating 15+ critical and high issues, and authored release-management workflows, deployment guides, and engineering standards. Mentored engineers and led architecture and API-design reviews.

Protect the team from ambiguity. I absorb unclear requirements so engineers can build with a clear target.

Mentor and upskill engineers through code reviews and architecture reviews — junior to senior.

Define and enforce backend standards — quality, security, and API governance the team can rely on.

Coordinate releases across teams — Backend, DevOps, Integration, QA, and Product — to unblock delivery.

Push back when something's wrong — including upward, when it needs saying.
